Our Story
We are more than a place we gather on Sundays — it’s a family centered on the Gospel and committed to walking together in faith. For generations, our heart has been to create a place where people can encounter Jesus, grow in God’s Word, worship Him wholeheartedly, and find a community where they truly belong. From biblical teaching and Christ-centered worship to investing in children and families, everything we do is rooted in a simple desire: to love God, serve people, and help every generation take their next step with Jesus.

Who we are
When you come to Wayside, our hope is that you feel welcomed, loved, and part of our family. We’re a gospel-centered church in Miami that cares about your next step in faith, whether you’re just exploring who Jesus is or you’ve walked with him for years.

How we worship
Every Sunday we pursue God-centered worship and biblical teaching. Our worship team leads through Southern Baptist hymns, choral music, and Spirit-filled contemporary songs — meant to engage people wherever they are in life.

Kids & Families
Wayside Children’s Ministries exists to share God’s love with 1st–5th graders through Bible teaching, encouragement, and care—for every kid, every family, every day of the week.

Our convictions, rooted in Scripture and shaped by the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention.
Our heart for Miami and beyond

Creative pastor, worship & creative leader, and tech enthusiast passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and build authentic community. Dedicated to using worship, music, media, and technology to create meaningful experiences that inspire people to follow Christ both in person and online.
